The new camera for Raspberry Pi has arrived and is available from nettop.gr Raspberry Pi High Quality Camera is the latest camera from Raspberry Pi. It offers higher resolution (12 megapixels, compared to 8 megapixels), and sensitivity (approximately 50% more area per pixel for improved low-light performance) than the existing Module v2 camera, and is designed to work with interchangeable lenses in both C- and CS-mounts. You can use various third party lenses or just get the recommended ones. It is compatible with all older Raspberry Pi models, from Raspberry Pi 1 Model b onwards, using the latest software from Raspberrypi.org/ Note it cannot be used directly with Raspberry Pi Zero, you need an FPC adapter. The package includes a circuit board carrying a Sony IMX477 sensor, an FPC cable to connect to the Raspberry Pi, an aluminum lens mount with a built-in tripod mount and a focus ring, and a C-to CS adapter. The HQ Camera is designed to accept CS mount lenses and with the supplied adapter, C-mount lenses. The CGL 6mm CS-mount and 16mm C-mount lenses are examples of third-party products compatible with HQ Camera. See detailed instructions for mounting these CS-mount and C-mount lenses .
